Karori Acupuncture
Karori Acupuncture is one of the longest-established acupuncture practices in New Zealand, with practitioner Tim Haiselden having practiced acupuncture since 1976. His qualifications include over 4 years of traditional study in both Thailand and England.

Acupuncture is the traditional Chinese art of healing & addressing medical symptoms, by influence on long-understood paths of energy flow known by the Chinese as meridians. Acupuncture has been practised for over 4500 years and also includes massage, moxibustion & herbal treatment.

Acupuncture in New Zealand is a recognized modality under the Accident Compensation Corporation, for treatment of conditions due to injury. This means that injury treatment will be part-covered by ACC.
Recognition and Distinctions
Tim Haiselden has worked with the acupuncture industry to establish standards & training, and is a past-President of the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists. In 2011 he was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for his services to acupuncture by the Governor General, Sir Jerry Mataparae.
